Celebrating Three Years

This month marks the three year anniversary of Elliot Sather Product Development. During my three years as an independent consultant I have been fortunate to work with many exciting clients (Revolv, Lunar, Faraday, humangear, REM Design, Lime Lab, Sano), in several different roles, on lots of challenging projects. I’ve also had the opportunity to work with some of the best designers and engineers in the area (Astro, Lunar, REM, Lime Lab, Branch, Ammunition). I want to thank my clients and partners for the opportunity and I look forward to upcoming projects!

Nearly ten years ago I took a photowalk through the Dogpatch and was captivated by how the lofts, artists’ studios, cafes, and restaurants of the neighborhood blended with the remnants if its industrial past. I had no idea that many years hence I’d set up shop there!

Revolv Acquired By Nest

My first client as an independent consultant, Revolv (née Mobiplug Networks), has announced that they have been acquired by Nest. Unfortunately it seems that it was a talent acquisition and they will stop production of the smart hub we developed together. Bummer! That’s how it goes sometimes. I wish the best of luck to Jeff, Marcelo, Mike and the rest of the team.
