While contracting with Design Concepts (now Delve) I helped develop the handle for the Artemis Neuro Evacuation Device, which is intended for the controlled aspiration of tissue and/or fluid from the Ventricular System and/or Cerebrum. Working closely with the industrial design team we developed a concept that was functional, comfortable for the surgeon to use, and manufacturable. My role included concept generation, mechanism development, component selection and sourcing, detailed plastic part design, and design for manufacturability.
